US automakers, regulatory bodies collaborate on central cybersecurity hub
Proposed Auto ISAC to be operational by 2015 end
Automakers in the US, in collaboration with the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers (Auto Alliance) and the Association of Global Automakers, are working to establish an Auto Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) that will serve as a central hub for intelligence and analysis, providing timely sharing of cyberthreat information and potential vulnerabilities in vehicle electronics or associated in-vehicle networks.
