Daimler and Renault-Nissan start construction of new Mexican plant
To build next-generation premium compact vehicles for Mercedes-Benz, Infiniti brands
Daimler AG and the Renault-Nissan Alliance held a groundbreaking ceremony for construction of a new joint-venture plant in Mexico yesterday (3 September). The facility, called COMPAS (Cooperation Manufacturing Plant Aguascalientes), is located in Aguascalientes and will build next-generation premium compact vehicles for the Mercedes-Benz and Infiniti brands.
