NGK Insulators agrees to USD65.3-million fine to settle price fixing, obstruction charges
Including NGK, 36 companies and 30 executives have pleaded guilty or agreed to plead guilty in ongoing price fixing investigation in US
NGK Insulators has agreed to plead guilty and pay a fine of USD65.3 million for its role in a conspiracy to fix price and rig bid for ceramic substrates for automotive climatic converters sold to automakers such as GM, Toyota and Nissan, the US Department of Justice (DOJ) said in a press release.
