Acquisition to strengthen Omron’s industrial automation business
Omron has agreed to acquire Adept Technology, a US-based provider of intelligent robots and autonomous mobile robot solutions, for approximately USD200 million in cash, the Japan-based company said in a press release yesterday (16 September).
