Volkswagen (VW) China says 1,946 imported vehicles were fitted with EA189 engine
Automaker investigating if any of these vehicles are indeed affected
Volkswagen (VW) China has issued a new statement on its corporate website stating that 1,946 VW Tiguans imported into China were fitted with the four-cylinder EA189 diesel engine, and VW says these could possibly be fitted with the "defeat device".
