New models slated for production at the Changan Suzuki Automobile joint venture.

Japanese automaker Suzuki aims to push production of midsize sedans and sport utility vehicles (SUVs) in China to gain market share in the country, the Nikkei reports. The company began sales of the Alivio sedan this year, while the SX4 SUV began production in 2014 with a larger model called the iV-4 expected in the fiscal 2015 year, the report claims. The models are slated for production at the Changan Suzuki Automobile joint venture.
