Chinese company Triangle Tire to open US office in Nashville

Area is already the location of Japanese and South Korean tyre companies' facilities.

Chinese tyre-maker Triangle Tire Group is due this week open a new office in Nashville, Tennessee, United States, in an area that is already the location of Japanese and South Korean tyre companies' facilities. Triangle, which opened a research-and-development (R&D) centre in Akron, Ohio, in 2011, is to open a 3,150-square-foot office in Nashville, reports local newspaper The Tennessean. The office is under Triangle Tire North America, which is a 70:30 joint venture involving Triangle Tire and Oriente Triangle Latin America Inc, the Miami-based distributor for the Triangle brand throughout Latin America, according to trade publication Tire Business.
