Mitsubishi Rayon to set up carbon fiber intermediate materials plant in Europe
First overseas plant by the company to meet growing demand for carbon fibres for automotive applications
Mitsubishi Rayon has announced plans to establish a new manufacturing plant in Bavaria, Germany, to produce sheet moulding compound (SMC) intermediate materials for automotive applications, according to a press release.
