Samsung SDI's Q3 net profit zooms to USD419.6 mil.; company divests Chemical business line
Company to use proceeds to strengthen EV battery business
Samsung SDI reported a net profit of KRW502.5 billion (USD419.6 million, 30 September 2015) in the third quarter (Q3) ended 30 September 2015, against a net loss of KRW12.9 billion (USD12.2 billion) in the same period a year earlier, the battery-making unit of South Korea’s Samsung Group said last week.
