Invests in Sept-Fons plant

PSA Peugeot-Citroën has announced that it will create 300 jobs at its Sochaux plant in France with the addition of a new half shift to support market demand and the launch of an upcoming model. The half shift will be introduced in February 2016 on the site's Line 2. The company added that some of the temporary roles will be filled through permanent agency staff. In related news, La Tribune has reported that PSA has invested EUR2.1 million (USD2.26 million) in its Sept-Fons site in Dompierre-Sur-Besbre. The cash has been spent on a new processing system for the reused sand that is used in castings.
