IHS Automotive shows model breakdown of 85,000 V-6 diesels with AECD in US
Audi announces software fix
IHS Automotive has published a full nameplate breakdown of the 85,000 Volkswagen (VW) Group vehicles that have been fitted with Auxiliary Emission Control Devices (AECDs) which led to a Notice of Violation (NoV) being served to Audi by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on 2 November. The number of vehicles thought to be affected was initially much lower, but it is now clear that the affected vehicles include all the cumulative vehicles sold with the VW Group's EA896 and EA896G2 engines in the US. The detailed model breakdown of the vehicles affected is listed in the table below.
