Citroën to introduce new suspension system
CEO reiterates that the brand intends to halve the number of body styles to seven plus the A-segment C1.
Citroën will introduce a new suspension system that will offer greater ride comfort and body control in 2017, reports Autocar. The brand's chief executive officer (CEO) Linda Jackson told the enthusiast publication, "Comfort is a core value of the Citroën brand, and this is ours way to recreate the benefits of the hydro-pneumatic set-up in a more modern, more appropriate way." She said that Citroën engineers have been working with an unnamed supplier on the system for some time, and that the system will be unique to the brand, stating, "We have the opportunity to pick new technologies for the future and I am sure this one is best suited to Citroën's core values."
