Volkswagen (VW) Group recalls 323,000 vehicles in India

olkswagen (VW) Group has announced a voluntary recall of 323,700 vehicles equipped with EA189 diesel engines in India. In a statement sent to IHS Automotive, the automotive group said the recall would include vehicles from the Volkswagen, Skoda, and Audi brands. The recall includes 198,500 VW vehicles, 88,700 Skoda cars, and 36,500 Audi vehicles sold in India between 2008 and November 2015. The recall affects vehicles equipped with 1.2-, 1.5-, 1.6-, and 2.0-litre EA189 diesel engines.
