Honda India to recall 90,210 diesel City and Mobilio models to fix fuel pipes
Will start the recall in a phased manner from 19 December.
Honda India has announced that it will recall 90,210 diesel vehicles to fix issues with faulty fuel pipes. In a statement sent to IHS Automotive, the automaker said it would recall 64,428 diesel units of the City sedan manufactured between December 2013 and July 2015 as well as 25,782 diesel units of the Mobilio multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) produced from June 2014 to July 2015. The voluntary recall is being undertaken to repair or replace a fuel return pipe that can come out, potentially leading to a fuel leakage or engine stoppage. Honda will start the recall in a phased manner from 19 December.
