Funding the plant on hold in the aftermath of the VW emissions situation.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has suspended EUR250 million of funding to help build Volkswagen's (VW) new light commercial vehicle (LCV) plant in Września, Poland, according to a Reuters report. Reuters spoke to two unnamed sources at the bank that said its element of funding the plant had been out on hold in the aftermath of the VW emissions situation. One of those familiar with the deal said, "It has been frozen. At the very least it [the loan] is going to have to be repriced, but it could get pulled altogether."
