EU upholds proposal for the overshoot of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions during the real world driving emissions (RDE) test cycle versus laboratory conditions
The EU has upheld a proposal for the overshoot of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions during the real world driving emissions (RDE) test cycle versus laboratory conditions, reports Automotive News Europe (ANE). From September 2017 this will be 110% while from January 2020 this will be 50%. A veto on this move was voted for by only 317 of the 751-member parliament.
