Production Statistics & Forecasts

Lay-offs will run from 17 March to 4 April.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) will continue to use temporary lay-offs at Maserati's Gurgliasco plant in Italy, according to an Automotive News Europe report. The measure is reportedly being used to adjust production to the lower demand for the Quattroporte and Ghibli models built at the plant. The report cites the Fiom workers union as a source, quoting the union as saying, "Maserati now makes use of temporary lay-offs each month… there is risk that production this year will be lower than in 2015, when it was already down 30% on the previous year."
