Toyota secures patent for augmented-reality windshield technology
Technology reduces driver distraction, enhances safety
Toyota Motor has patented an augmented-realty windshield technology that enables use of head-up displays (HUDs) more realistic. According to Autoblog, the patent works like a conventional HUD which brings dashboard information on the vehicle windshield.
