New coating technology reduces piston friction
Federal-Mogul Powertrain, a division of Federal-Mogul Holdings, has introduced two piston skirt coatings, EcoTough®-New Generation (for gasoline engines) and EcoTough-D (for diesel engines), according to a company press release on 30 March.
