Japan FTC fines five capacitors suppliers USD59.6 million for price-fixing – report
Also issues cease-and-desist order against these suppliers
Japan’s Free Trade Commission (FTC) has ordered five capacitors suppliers to pay about JPY6.7 billion (USD59.6 million) in fine for running a price-fixing cartel in violation of the country’s Antimonopoly Act, according to a report in The Japan Times late last month.
