TankTwo develops “string batteries” to reduce charging time
Says battery swap takes under three minutes
TankTwo, a battery technology startup, has developed rechargeable ellipsoid shaped “string batteries” which can be used in electric vehicles, according to a press release. The report states that depleted batteries can be sucked out and recharged batteries can be poured into the battery container of the car within a period of three minutes. The batteries connect directly without the need of wires and a computerized system determines the best route for power. The batteries are rechargeable and can also be recharged via standard charging plugs.
