Despite the recent backlash against diesel, German automaker continues to invest in this technology

Daimler has announced that Mercedes-Benz is investing EUR3 billion (USD3.33 billion) in the development of new diesel and gasoline (petrol) engine technologies to meet forthcoming emissions regulations.
