Airbags opted by 2% of Maruti Suzuki minicar buyers, 15% compact car buyers
The take-up of airbags remains low in India, despite efforts by automakers to promote the safety equipment. Citing a senior official from Maruti Suzuki, a Business Standard report says that the issue is particularly acute in small cars.
