Japanese automakers expand Takata airbag-related recall by 1.3 million units
Mazda to recall 490,000; Mitsubishi 520,000; Fuji Heavy 290,000 vehicles
Japanese automakers have recalled another 1.3 million vehicles in the country over potentially defective Takata airbags, according to a report by Reuters. Mazda is to recall around 490,000 vehicles in Japan, while a recall by Mitsubishi included around 520,000 cars in the country.
