Automakers foresee huge potential for cost savings through harmonization of safety regulations

Different automotive safety regulations in the United States and the European Union (EU) cost automakers as much as USD2.26 billion annually, according to a study by the Center for Automotive Research (CAR), commissioned by the Alliance for Automobile Manufacturers (AAM).
