Key Japanese automakers to increase annual expenditure on R&D for seventh consecutive year in FY2016/17

19 Jul 2016 – Japanese automakers will expand their research and development (R&D) budget during fiscal year (FY) 2016/17 in a bid to better respond to tightening environmental regulations and develop new technologies, according to a report by Nikkei.
