Ford's decline in the U.S. market share has far out-paced even that of General Motors in the last five years

The announcement of Ford Motor Company’s “Way Forward” restructuring last month was greeted with some scepticism by financial analysts, U.S. dealers, the media and, not least, the supplier community. But their plan seems to address the right questions - the uncertainty is whether it will deliver.
