Apart from government agencies US Department of Transport and US Department of Energy, private players such as Protean Electric, FEV and Eberspacher made investments in the HEV sector
Protean Electric, an in-wheel electric drive systems developer, has received USD70 million in new funding from GO Scale Capital, Zhejiang VIE Science & Technology Co. Ltd., and Tianjin THSG Corporation.
