Tesla expects large volume and expected decline in battery price to drive profit margin
CEO Elon Musk has high hopes from Tesla’s latest offering, the Model 3. Earlier this week, while inaugurating Tesla’s battery ‘Gigafactory’ in Nevada, United States, Musk said that Model 3 could generate USD20 billion in revenue per year and an annual gross profit of USD5 billion, translating into a gross margin of 25%.
