NHTSA upgrades probe into ARC airbag inflators – report
US safety regulator opened investigation into ARC inflators in July 2015
The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is upgrading a probe into more than 8 million airbag inflators from supplier ARC Automotive, following an accident in Canada in which an inflator ruptured in a Hyundai vehicle, according to Reuters.
