TRI commits to an initial USD22-million investment in the research
The Toyota Research Institute (TRI), which Toyota funded with USD1 billion and announced in November 2015 has announced a partnership with the University of Michigan to accelerate research into artificial intelligence, one of the technologies that is expected to be crucial for autonomous vehicle development.
