US automaker to use funds to develop lower-cost production system for fuel cells

Ford has been awarded a grant from the US Department of Energy for the development of fuel-cell technology, reports the Detroit News. The grant amount is USD6 million, to be shared between Ford and the Los Alamos National Laboratory, to accelerate the development of hydrogen fuel-cell technology.
