Velodyne LiDAR gets USD150 million investment from Ford, Baidu
Funds to be used to accelerate cost reduction, scale production
Velodyne LiDAR, a US-based LiDAR solution provider, has received USD150 million in funding from Ford Motor and Chinese search engine firm Baidu, the company said in a press release.
