Tesla’s new vehicles feature Wi-Fi hot spot chips
EV maker has not formally introduced Wi-Fi hot spot
Tesla is working to further improve connectivity in its vehicles by converting them into Wi-Fi hot spot, according to news site Electrek. Earlier this year, the EV maker filed an application with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to use radio frequencies with a Session Initiation Protocol (SiP) module that signal and control multimedia communication sessions over the internet.
