Ricardo and Quanchai to develop common rail diesel engine platform
New engine will abide by China 6 Heavy Duty and China 4 Off Highway regulations
Engineering firm Ricardo has signed an agreement with Chinese commercial vehicle engine producer Anhui Quanchai Engine Company to support the development of a new generation common rail diesel engine platform. Under the agreement Ricardo will participate in the design and development of clean combustion diesel engines of sizes ranging from 2.3 litres to 3 litres.
