NVIDIA, Baidu team up to build artificial intelligence platform for self-driving cars
AI platform will be used in semi-automated driving vehicles
NVIDIA has entered a partnership with Chinese internet search firm Baidu to jointly build an artificial intelligence (AI) platform for self-driving cars, the company said in a press release. The partnership will use Baidu’s know-how in cloud platform and mapping solutions and NVIDIA’s expertise in self-driving computing platform to develop solutions for high-definition (HD) map, Level 3 autonomous vehicle control and automated parking.
