Chinese government policies stipulate EV producers must have 17 core technologies
Without the listed technologies, licences will not be granted to companies
A draft policy document posted by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) lists that electric vehicle (EV) production houses must have 17 technologies to meet the requirements for legitimate EV producers in the country.
