Plant will have annual production capacity of 300,000 units

French automaker Groupe PSA (formerly PSA Peugeot-Citroën Automobile Company) will this week open a new production base in Chengdu, southwest China. The plant will have a production capacity of 300,000 units per annum (upa) and will build Citroën, Peugeot and Fengshan brand models, with production commencing by the end of this year, Bloomberg reports.
