BMW to offer ‘BMW Connected’ app for Android-based smartphones from next month
Company is offering BMW Connected for iPhones since March this year
In October, BMW will start offering its ‘BMW Connected’ application (app) on selected smartphones running on the latest version of Android operating system for customers in Germany and the United States, the company said in a press release. For this, the German automaker partnered with Samsung, one of the leading players in Android-based smartphones market, to preview the technology at the Samsung Showcase event held last week (31 August), at the IFA 2016 in Berlin, Germany.
