Kia celebrates grand opening of Mexican plant
Plant's annual production capacity planned to reach 400,000 units
Kia has officially opened its new plant in Mexico, marked by a grand opening ceremony on 7 September, according to a company announcement. The plant is Kia's sixth overseas facility, with an annual production capacity planned to reach 400,000 units and raise the automaker's global capacity to 3.56 million units per annum (upa).
