Tesla announces Autopilot updates
Updates are being accomplished through software changes only and add more aggressive alerts if people are driving without their hands on the steering wheel
Tesla has announced the details of updates to its Autopilot driver assist software. The most significant change, according to Tesla, is that the updated system will use Autopilot's onboard radar as a primary rather than secondary control sensor, as it had initially been designed to do.
