Suzuki's Kosai plant in Japan reaches production milestone of 20 million units

Kosai plant reached the 10-million unit milestone in 2000, and the15-million unit milestone in 2008

Suzuki held a ceremony at its Kosai plant in the Shzuoka Prefecture, Japan to commemorate reaching the milestone of producing 20 million vehicles. The plant began operations as a production site for mini-vehicles in October 1970, and achieved the 20-million unit production milestone in a total span of 45 years and 11 months. Suzuki says the plant reached the 10-million unit milestone in 2000, and the15-million unit milestone in 2008.
