Fundraising to help the company meet its capital expenditure and acquisition spends

The board of directors of India-based auto component supplier Motherson Sumi Systems has approved raising up to INR5.63 billion (around USD83.97 million) by issuing 17.76 million shares of the company to Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Japan, on a preferential basis, the company said in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges on 12 September.
