Renesas will buy Intersil for around USD3.22 billion in an all-cash deal financed via internal accruals

Japanese semiconductor manufacturer Renesas Electronics’ board of directors has approved signing a pact to acquire American chip-making company Intersil for around USD3.22 billion in cash, the company said in a press release on 13 September.
