Constellium-UACJ JV opens automotive body sheet production facility in US
Facility, currently in pre-qualification stage, already has orders from major North American OEMs
Constellium-UACJ ABS, a joint-venture (JV) between Constellium and UCAJ Corporation, has officially inaugurated its new manufacturing facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky (United States), according to a press release by Constellium on 14 September. The 225,000 square foot facility will produce aluminium automotive body sheet for various applications such as closure panels and body structures. It will have initial production capacity of 100,000 metric tonnes.
