CCTV network has become a major force of influence in China

Chinese state media has televised an investigation into a fatal crash in China involving a Tesla Model S, which was allegedly in Autopilot mode. The China Central Television (CCTV) network aired a report on 14 September on a Model S that crashed into a vehicle in January this year, killing the driver of the vehicle.
