WiTricity, Prodrive to jointly develop 11 kW EV wireless charging system
Companies are designing the system for a European carmaker
WiTricity is collaborating with Dutch power electronics and sensor supplier Prodrive Technologies to design an 11 kW wireless charging system, which the companies claim will be a high-performance one, Green Car Congress website reported on 20 September. The two companies are designing the system for a European carmaker that plans to release its first wirelessly charged vehicles in 2019.
