LG Uplus partners with SsangYong, Tech Mahindra for connected cars technologies
Aim to launch the connected car services within three years
South Korean telecom company LG Uplus has formed a partnership with SsangYong Motor and Tech Mahindra—both owned by India’s Mahindra Group—to develop new connected car technologies, reports The Korea Herald. The three companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in Seoul, South Korea, last week (23 September) to collaborate on development of a new platform technologies and network services for SsangYong’s connected car business.
