BAIC EV to open two new R&D centers in Japan and Italy
New centers to be mainly responsible for prospective modeling design
Chinese automobile company BAIC EV will open two centers for research and development (R&D), one each in Tokyo (Japan) and Turin (Italy), the company said in a press release. These will be BAIC EV’s sixth and seventh overseas R&D centers after those in the Silicon Valley, Aachen, Detroit, Barcelona and Dresden, according to the press release.
