Toyota's hybrid sales in Europe up 45% y/y in January-August
Company aims to sell 300,000 hybrids by the end of this year
Toyota Motor Europe (TME) says it has recorded a growth of over 45% year-on-year in the sales of hybrids in Europe for the January to August period and is expected to sell 300,000 hybrids in 2016, the highest ever for Toyota in the region, according to a press release on 27 September.
